- The outstanding Whanganui River Adventure’s BRIDGE TO NOWHERE. Depart your accommodation approx 8.15am to drive yourself 1¼-hours south to Pipiriki Village, to join the 10am tour departure for the 1-hour jetboat journey to Mangapurua Landing, to then enjoy an ‘easy-grade’ 40-min walk to the extraordinary historical Bridge to Nowhere where you will stop for a BYO lunch while learning the incredible local history (tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits included). [Jetboat Tour returns back to Pipiriki at around 2.30pm.]
